Paola

Born in Santiago, Chile, Paola moved to Canada with her family at the age of 12 and grew up in Bayfield and London, Ontario. After an unsatisfying stint working for several airlines at Pearson Airport, Paola knew she was ready for her real passion in life – caring for furry friends. While working full time at another clinic in Toronto, Paola pursued her Veterinary Technician certification during nights, weekends, and every spare moment she had through Cedar Valley College's distance learning program. She obtained her Science Associate - Veterinary Technician degree in December of 2019. In June 2020, she passed the VTNE exam and realized her dream of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.

Paola and her husband have two rescues at home – Bob Marley (or Marley as she is known) a 9 year old Weimaraner who was rescued from Santiago de Chile in 2012 and Pink Floyd (known as Pinky) a 4 year old Russian Blue rescued by the city as a kitten.

In her spare time, Paola enjoys running, camping, hiking and the outdoors in general, travelling, scuba diving, and playing the drums.
